Restoration Stonemasonry

Restored cross on church
Restoration stonemasonry is a rewarding challenge. Last year I was commissioned by Christchurch in Esher to restore two stone crosses. The original ones had crumbled and they were in such poor state of repair that there was no template to copy. I had to do some extensive research in order to design suitable replacements which were in keeping with the architecture of the church. The crosses were carved in Bathstone.
