Slate headstone
We made this slate headstone for the very highly regarded organist Richard Coulson. It sits gracefully among the other headstones at Cobham Cemetery in Surrey. The beauty of slate is that it allows the stone carver to work in fine detail allowing the flourishes to flow. This would not work as well on a course grained material such as York stone.
