Slate Opening Plaque, Charterhouse
This is another opening plaque for Charterhouse. The lettering here is being ‘flood painted’; the non-porous quality of slate allows one to apply the paint quickly and evenly. The excess paint is then rubbed off with wet and dry paper when set.
